New Reviews

What's new, exciting and interesting in the world of Paddling!

Impex Kayaks:
New ultralight carbon layup; the one we saw was in a new limited edition "sunset" color deck and a clear carbon hull -sweet!
We hope to have a full review soon.

Liquid Logic Kayaks:
-whitewater; "Hoss" and "Lil' Joe"
A pair of do everything kayaks that should be around for quite a while.

-trekreation; "Tuxedo GT"
Updates this great design to the level of outfitting it deserves.
"Zirconia" -a tandem trek kayak, sporty and stable.

Necky Kayaks:
-Recreation/Touring; "Manitou"
This new kayak looks like it should be a nice blend of rec kayak stability and touring efficiency. Great new seat!
We hope to have a full review soon!

Oak Orchard Paddles:
A new wood touring kayak paddle. Seems to have allot of detail for the price range.
Epoxy rock guard tip, laminated blade covered with a thin clear fiberglass layer for extra durability and less maintenance compared to other wood blades.

Deluxe J Cradles:
A new kayak carrier -claims to work as a stacker and a J style rack.
Looks interesting! Expect a full review soon.

Mad River Canoe:
Adventure 16'
-one of the first innovations in canoe building in quite a while.
Caution, traditional purists need not apply!
This canoe isn't going to stir up any romantic notions of Bill Mason paddling into the sunset but it is amazingly stable and a very nice canoe for the money. Backrests and cup holders are included!
